BETH SHOLOM SYNAGOGUE Elkins Park, Thursday, September 27, 10:00AM, cost $12+lunch – We will have a guided tour of the only synagogue designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The building was completed in 1959 soon after his death. It is one of the great treasures of American architecture. Special note: Hedy Elefritz’s dad was the rabbi who convinced Mr. Wright to embrace this project.
RODIN MUSEUM, THURSDAY, October 4, 11:00am, Cost: $12+lunch nearby – The grounds, galleries and building of the Rodin Museum have recently been renovated. We will enjoy a guided tour of the most comprehensive collection of Rodin’s work outside of Paris.
